Nancy Corbin is an autobiographical painter. Intuitive imagery represents every aspect of her life. Layers of color, texture and movement fill paintings with light and air. Figures, birds and pears often find important positions in her work. Ranging from chaotic to calm, her compositions address being human - physically, spiritually and intellectually.
Most often working in acrylic, watercolor and collage are important tools for realizing compositions. The works on paper often lead to large canvases, while the intimately sized work holds an important place in her oeuvre.

Nancy has studied at Banff School of Fine Arts, University of Cincinnati, University of South Carolina, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Hemlock Studios, New York University and Converse College.
